Research Special Interest Group Seminar

Every year, the Research Special Interest Group presents a research day at the OADD conference on Developmental Disabilities.

A key note speaker is sponsored to address the participants prior to the day's presentations. Papers and presentations are called for annually in the fall.

About the Research Seminar

The objectives of the Research Day are to:

  • Update research advances in the field and exchange information regarding ongoing research activities in developmental disabilities in Ontario
  • Provide opportunity for networking and collaboration for researchers and students with an interest in developmental disabilities from across the province
  • Discuss ways to stimulate interest and support for research at the level of institutions, governments, and research funding bodies
